Oscilloscope Search and Navigate example: Quickly identify dirty power/brown out on the power line

In this video, we use the Search and Navigate feature of the SIGLENT SDS2X Plus scope to isolate and indicate low voltage conditions of an input signal.

Here, we use an SDG signal generator to produce a 60 Hz sine wave and we introduce a few periods of much lower voltage.. simulating dirty power/brownout conditions and then use the oscilloscope Search and Navigate function to find these fault conditions in a long time duration scan. This shows how you can use your scope to find that “needle in a haystack”. Short events (ms of duration) in large data sets.
