Safety Certifications

Most SIGLENT instruments have CE as well as TUV or ETL certification covering the USA and Canada. These are Nationally Recognized Test Lab (NRTL) for the appropriate standards being tested. For more information check here.

Calibration Certificates

Each SIGLENT product sold has passed quality and calibration testing prior to leaving the manufacturing floor. Each instrument comes with a Certificate of Calibration that is traceable the International System of Units (SI) via National Metrology Institutes (NIM, NIST or PTB) that are signatories to the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA).

Updates & Releases

License Activation
SIGLENT Instruments offer some capabilities as pay options. Typically, these have a free trial period on a new instrument either in terms of hours of on time or number of uses. Review the product guides for information on the options or check the support center here. Licenses that are purchased are typically sent out via email as pdfs. Please check your junk folder if you don’t get licenses in 2-3 business days after an order. The PDF attachment includes codes you can register to your instrument using this web service: Licensing / Activation Codes.

SIGLENT provides repair services and calibration services from our lab in Solon, Ohio to all North American customers.

Most instruments come with a 3 year warranty from the date of purchase and most accessories have a 1 year warranty. Learn more about warranty terms here:

Out of Warranty service
For instruments outside of the warranty period or when the warranty terms were not upheld, SIGLENT offers out of warranty service pricing at our lab in Solon, Ohio. Please contact support@siglentna.com for a quote and an RMA# before shipping in for service. Service terms are payment upfront. Customer pays to ship the instrument to the lab. SIGLENT covers shipping back to any location in the 48 states. Shipping outside of that area may incur an additional cost.
SIGLENT Calibration Services
SIGLENT provides 3 types of service through our lab in Solon, Ohio:
1) SIGLENT Calibration
This service includes a Performance Verification and, if needed, an adjustment at our Ohio test facility. Calibration equipment is NIST Traceable and comes with a calibration certificate equivalent to our factory calibration. Typical Lead time = 2-3 weeks
2) NIST Traceable with Data Calibration
This service includes a NIST Traceable Calibration with pre and post data and certificate at one of our trusted calibration partners’ certified labs. By standard practice, instruments are not adjusted if found within 1 year specifications. Instruments are still shipped to SIGLENT for processing. Typical Lead time = 3-5 weeks
3) ISO17025 Accredited Calibration
This service is similar to a NIST Traceable with Data Calibration, but it also includes an ISO17025 Certified Calibration with pre and post data and certificate at one of our trusted calibration partners certified labs. By standard practice, instruments are not adjusted if found within 1 year specifications. Instruments are still shipped to SIGLENT for processing. Typical Lead time = 3-5 weeks
