Protecting an SPD from an active load/battery

The output channels of SIGLENT SPD series power supplies have a protection diode with protection voltage and current rating of < 32V/1A.
If the reverse voltage and current of the battery or power source connected to the SPD is > 32V/1A, you should add a protection diode between the power supply and load as below:
