SDS Sequence mode: Stop after end frame is reached

October 6, 2022

Many SIGLENT SDS series oscilloscopes feature Sequence mode, which can be used to capture multiple trigger events that can be replayed like frames in a movie. In this video, we show how to use SINGLE trigger mode to stop acquisition after the user-defined sequences have been captured.

VNC Viewer for easy LAN control of multiple instruments

October 6, 2022

In this video, I connect an SDS6000A series oscilloscope and SDG7000A series arbitrary waveform generator to a computer using a LAN and highlight some of the features of a commercially available VNC(r) software tool. If you are remotely monitoring instrumentation, these types of tools can be very helpful in displaying information.
