In this video, I connect an SDS6000A series oscilloscope and SDG7000A series arbitrary waveform generator to a computer using a LAN and highlight some of the features of a commercially available VNC(r) software tool. If you are remotely monitoring instrumentation, these types of tools can be very helpful in displaying information.
Clyde Lettsome covers standard and more advanced capabilities of a function generator using the SIGLENT SDG1032X as an example:
In this video, Patrik Gold from SIGLENT EU presents common issues with wireless communications and strategies to improve performance through basic testing. Perfect for IOT development. Originally presented at the Embedded Forum at virtual Electronica 2020.
In this video, Thomas Rottach from SIGLENT EU presents information on overcoming common power supply design issues through different testing methods. The first presentation of this material was at the Power Electronics Forum @ virtual Electronica 2020.
In this video, we use the Search and Navigate feature of the SIGLENT SDS2X Plus scope to isolate and indicate low voltage conditions of an input signal. Here, we use an SDG signal generator to produce a 60 Hz sine wave and we introduce a few periods of much lower voltage.. simulating dirty power/brownout conditions … Continued
Afrotech Mods reviews the SIGLENT SDG6000X Arbitrary Function Waveform Generator.
In this video, Chris shows how terminations affect signals and compares various 50 ohm terminations using a SIGLENT scope and function generator:
Chris Grossman (@batray) reviews the SIGLENT Bode II capabilities that were added with the four-channel XE firmware version 6.1.33: This function also applies to the following oscilloscope and generator series: SDS2000X-E SDS2000 X Plus SDS5000X SDS6000A SDG1000X SDG2000X SDG6000X SDG7000A
